Large scale sewing experiment

Following on from my previous, small scale sewing experiments, I wanted to go larger and make the sewing more detailed and meaningful. I have printed out my vintage, family photos in large, A2 size and mounted onto thick paper. I feel that this experiment has been successful but I didn't get the look I was hoping for with no thred showing the connection and close bond myself and my family have. I feel I could of created a various amount of sewing techniques but I only did lines throughout the whole picture. For my next sewing experiment, I am going to create a more detailed and not so much line sewing being more creative and connection to stitching with eachother.
